It's Friday night and the mood is right. Gonna have some fun, show you how it's done, TGIF.
Hey homies. This weekend is my least favorite weekend of the year... daylight savings time. Screw you daylight savings time! I think there is a part of Indiana that doesn't celebrate DST... I'm moving there.
What else... oh yeah. Next week = finals. Suckz. I've already been studying for accounting for like 3 days. Not 3 days straight. End the pain of accounting!
So, Nate and I looked at an apartment the other day. 2, actually, and they weren't that great. They had a lot of rooms, but they were kind of skanky rooms with creaky floors. The following is my apartment wish list: in a nice apartment complex (not a remodeled house), dishwasher, a/c (preferably central air), newish kitchen appliances, not crap bathroom, thermostat controlled heat instead of radiators, noise free, affordable, excellent management and maintenance staff, close to a bus stop that gets me to where I need to go, parking for Nate, and an intercom / buzzing in system. I think that's it. I probably won't get all of that stuff, but that's what I want. A balcony would be nice, too. Oh yeah, and it has to come stocked with free snacks. We are going to look at another one through Franklin West tomorrow in Shadyside. It better rock.
Wario Ware for Game Cube comes out Monday I think. Great! I thought I needed a little distraction from studying.
This entry is boring because I am boring. I haven't done anything fun lately. We cleaned the apartment the other day because people were coming to look at it. I was going to set Moosey up with the remote in his hand watching "A Llama Story," but I didn't think of that at 8am.
Lately, TiVo has been recording awesome 80s Nickelodeon game shows for me, like Nick Arcade and Make the Grade. Make the Grade rocks. Almost every episode has a question regarding Motley Crue, and the prize is always a copy of NES's "Double Dragon II." The thing that annoys me though is that the grand prize for every Nick show from that era was almost always a trip to Universal Studios Florida... hello? That is where Nickelodeon is, isn't it? I think so, because I was there. I saw the "Gak Fountain" and everything. I asked Kim about it and she claims to not remember it. Stupid bitch. How could you forget gak? I was also watching Double Dare the other day... I hate the stupid physical challenges on that show. It is always something ridiculous like "Catch a pancake on a flipper," or anything involving big pants and pies. Isn't Marc Summers dead? That isn't funny. He was in the Super Sloppy Obstacle Course of Death. Wait a minute, he isn't dead. The guy from Family Feud is. Marc Summers hosts "WinTuition" on the Game Show Network now, or recently. I wish I had a pair of glasses with a little built in TV inside, so I would never miss awesome game shows.
I would just like to take this time to point out that TiVo rocks and my life would be significantly different without it... it would suck, as a matter of fact. Nate even likes it and he says he doesn't like TV (he lies). If you don't have TiVo and you want it to record random shows for you like "Roc," "Boy Meets World," or weird random programs about show-pigs... then get it! It's waiting for you.
